Funding
The majority of children at Squirrels Preschool receive funding for free Early Education. This includes 2 year old (Free for Two Funding), 3&4 year old (Universal Funding) and 30 hours (Extended Funding). The Free for 2 and Universal Funding gives a child 5 sessions (15 hours) per week and we can provide 27 hours of Extended Funding (subject to availability).
Should your child not be eligible yet for funding or you would like some extra sessions on top of the funded ones then our fee is £18,- per 3 hour session.
A deposit of £50, is required if you would like to pay for sessions. This deposit will be refunded when you no longer require the paid sessions and any outstanding fees have been paid.
Invoices are sent out termly and must be paid within 2 weeks. Fees are payable even if your child is away (including sickness and holidays).
SEND
We are a small setting that provides an inclusive environment for all children. We follow the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice: 0-25 years and use the graduated approach to enable us to identify early gaps in development. This enables early implementation of strategies, with help of professionals, ensuring all children reach their full potential.
